President of both CERMI CV and Third Sector Social Action Platform for the Region of Valencia
Luis Vañó Gisbert, was born in Bocairente (Valencia, Spain) in 1966; he has a graduate diploma in Business Studies and a career civil servant at the National Social Security Institute for 18 years.
He is currently President of both CERMI CV and Third Sector Social Action Platform for the Region of Valencia (PTS-CV) )
At 18, he became a Board Member of the Region of Valencia Haemophilia Association, where he was spokesperson and then leisure and free-time coordinator for 3 years; he then went on to be Secretary and finally the Association’s President, which he still is.
He was President of the Spanish Haemophilia Federation (2003-2007); and is currently still a member. He was spokesperson of the World Haemophilia Federation for 3 years and Deputy Chair of the European Haemophilia Consortium for 5 years.
He joined the Board of COCEMFE VALENCIA in 2000, in the role of Secretary and later President of COCEMFE VCALENCIA, for 8 years.
He is also Deputy Chair of the Steering Committee of Entities in the Fight Against Aids (CALCSICOVA)
