Joan Gatnau is co-founder and director of BCN4ALL – Barcelona for all needs, personal services company for accessible and inclusive tourism. BCN4ALL is committed to personal assistance and accompaniment in all difference tourists needs: accommodation and activities; with the aim that all people can enjoy Barcelona on equal terms. With their services proposal BCN4ALL covers personal and assistance needs to allow anyone to travel and carry out activities in the city of Barcelona. The great demographic changes and the incipient silver economy, even to the miniscule participation in the tourist activity in the destination of Barcelona of elderly and with special needs people, originated the BCN4ALL start-up.


In the field of cruises BCN4ALL has provided several accompaniment services to users on cruises in the Mediterranean and Atlantic, attending to their activities and excursions in the different berths. Joan Gatnau has a degree in Business and Master’s degree in East Asian Studies and Free Software. Since this heterogeneous training has developed a linked career to entrepreneurship, creation and development of social and community projects. After living in Madrid, Paris and Santiago, Chile, Joan is based in Barcelona from 20 years ago. Settled in to the City led him with determination to work so that everyone can enjoy, without limits and visit it.
